Wings Over Wallkill *w/ SPECIAL Guest Sona Mason In-Person
We have a special guest for our Wings Over Wallkill walk! On Saturday, June the 13th at 9 am, join Library Director Dan Perkins and habitat restorationist Soňa Mason for a bird walk and botanical exploration of the Shawangunk Grasslands.
Discover early summer flowers that feed pollinators and insect larvae that feed young birds. Gain insight into the ecological relationships that sustain grassland biodiversity.
The walk will be repeated in September when the majority of meadow flowers will be in bloom.
All experience levels welcome.
Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water.
Binoculars recommended but not required.
